P-LAYER
Description:
The new start-up P-LAYER is spreading its wings in Strasbourg, supported by SATT Conectus. Based on innovative technology developed by the ICube public research laboratory in collaboration with the University of Southampton (UK), P-LAYER offers a new type of smart glazing.
Autonomous, controllable and self-powered, this dynamic glass is capable of darkening in a matter of seconds in the presence of a light source, while simultaneously producing photovoltaic energy. This ground-breaking technology will improve the energy performance of buildings, vehicles, greenhouses and has major potential applications in smart glasses and vision systems.
